People finish No Results Found and immediately ask what else feels like typing into a fake internet until a closed case opens. Preview coverage compared the loop to Her Story and Hypnospace Outlaw: you go looking, the game does not walk you there. Launch writeups and Steam chatter also name Lost Wiki: Kozlovka, another Korean desktop mystery whose wiki-and-files texture some reviewers said they recognized. This page is the comparison file. It is not a tier list. It is not a shared universe. Zzangdol Games did not ship a crossover.

Play No Results Found first if you have not. The free Steam download from 14 August 2026 is short. Two to two and a half hours for one filing is the review cluster. Then decide whether you want another no-highlighter desk or a different kind of archive.

What this game actually is

You sit in one room as a NIRA researcher. You scrape a public Church of the Nine-Tentacled Octopus site, find a members-only board, fill an organization chart, drown in an in-game encyclopedia, and file Accuse or Connive. Important clues are not highlighted. Search tags got clearer in Patch 1.1, but nobody painted the next noun for you. How to Search is the verb list. Hidden Community is the first wall. Wiki Blanks is the paperwork wall. Endings is the moral split.

That shape is closer to a finite detective archive than to an open-world sim. There are no weekly codes. There is a DODGE minigame that completionists hate, documented on How to Beat DODGE. Her Story and Hypnospace Outlaw

Her Story is database clips and a search bar. You query, you watch, you query again. No Results Found stole the confidence of that bar, not the footage. You are not scrubbing police interviews. You are reading a cult forum that thinks it is funny.

Hypnospace Outlaw is a whole fake 1990s web, with pages that exist to be browsed. NRF is smaller and meaner about empty results. The title is the joke. A dead search is a designed feeling, not a missing DLC. If you loved Hypnospace because the web was dense, NRF’s public Church site will feel like the starter neighborhood and the hidden board like the real town.

Neither comparison is a spoiler for the drowning. Both explain why a highlighter would kill the product.

Lost Wiki: Kozlovka and other desk cousins

Notebookcheck’s launch piece noted that some users call out a strong resemblance to Lost Wiki: Kozlovka. Most early reviews were Korean, which is expected for a Korean studio, and the authenticity of any review corpus is always a separate argument. For this wiki the useful fact is narrower: players who already like Korean desktop mysteries will feel at home in the file explorer, the encyclopedia tone, and the sense that a wiki inside the game is a second campaign. That is texture. It is not proof of a shared canon. Do not search Kozlovka names inside NRF’s index. The index will not reward crossover fan fiction.

Other desk mysteries exist. Return of the Obra Dinn is deduction with a freeze-frame, not a browser. The Roottrees are Dead is family-tree paperwork. If your itch is specifically octopus-mask forums plus fill-in-the-blank science articles, NRF is still the free one that shipped this August.

Who should play which

Play No Results Found if you want a short, free, no-hint cult scrape with two report endings and a brutal optional arcade. Play Her Story if you want video testimony and a narrower database. Play Hypnospace Outlaw if you want to live in a fake web for dozens of hours. Play Kozlovka if that desk already owns you and you want another Korean archive, knowing the resemblance is a review talking point, not a sequel label.
