No Results Found In-Game Wiki and Fill-in-the-Blank

After the hidden community, No Results Found changes register. Korean reviews call the next stretch the wiki-find part: a simulated encyclopedia that feels like a second game. Forum jokes give way to institutional lemmas. Blue links replace usernames. Fill-in-the-blank sentences replace punchlines. Steam already has an English thread whose entire title is one of those sentences: “However, its true nature turned out to be ______________.” This page is the method file for that layer. It will not invent the missing word.

When the wiki actually appears

The in-game wiki is not the public Church homepage and it is not this fan site. It is a program on the NIRA desktop that starts behaving like a real wiki: an article names a ritual, a chemical, a person, or a place, then another article waits behind a blue lemma. Reviews say following those links is the late-game pleasure. Some pages are written to confuse you on purpose. One Korean player asked for cleaner lemmas. Treat confusion as authored fog, not as a broken localization, until a string you can copy appears.

Watch for extra materials that open without a toast. A launch-week review said time vanished because a new folder or article had appeared and the player kept hunting a keyword that was already sitting in a window they had not refocused. When a search suddenly dies, click every desktop icon again before you open a spoiler. The Walkthrough is the full route. This page is the wiki-shaped lock on that route.

Why community search habits fail here

On the board, a fragment often works: a nickname, a photo object, a date. On the wiki, several players describe a stricter index. One Korean review used a clear example. If a document were titled like a full report name, searching one word from the middle would miss. Searching a second word from the middle would miss. The engine wanted the full title, or a tag attached to the document, not a paraphrase and not a substring guess. That is closer to following an invisible hyperlink than to using a web search engine.

So the habit changes. Copy article titles exactly. Copy the blue lemma, not a translation of the blue lemma. Copy tags if the UI shows tags. Do not add adjectives. The blank is a keyword you have already been shown in the wiki or community layer. Copy the in-world term. Do not thesaurus it. Do not paste a real-world cultology word you think is clever. The index is authored. If the word were supposed to be guessed from first principles, the designers would not have left it sitting in an article you were told to read.

A related Korean complaint names a document whose title is a raw-material substitution investigation report, with a last-word deduction that felt weakly connected even when the player guessed it. Treat that as the same family of puzzle: a authored fill-in, not a logic exam. If you have already spent twenty minutes staring at underscores, you have paid the design. Then the Walkthrough is allowed. Jumping there the first time a blank appears is how you skip the only mechanic the wiki phase has.

How to read without wrecking the case

Open every lemma that names a person you might pin on the organization chart. Open every lemma that names a ritual, a chemical, a place, or a date that disagrees with mail. Screenshot pages that auto-advance if a chat is still running in another window. Launch reviews, including Jennik’s English note, lost last chat lines and a final report screen that skipped. The wiki itself is mostly static text, which is a relief, but the report that consumes wiki words is not.

Do not assume the encyclopedia stays after the title card. Players asked to keep reading it following credits. Until a patch adds that, finish the lemmas before you file Accuse or Connive. Patch 1.0.1 fixed display, input fields, and typos. It did not add a hint button and it did not freeze chats.

What this page will not print

The missing word in the true-nature sentence. A fan-made list of every wiki lemma. A community URL. Those answers, if they belong anywhere, belong in a spoiler walkthrough after you have copied the screen. This wiki’s job on the wiki-inside-the-game is to tell you which surface you are on and which search habit the surface wants.

Church vocabulary that keeps showing up as lemmas still lives in the Church file. The desk you sit at is NIRA. The two reports you will file are on Endings. If a 16:9 or ultrawide screen made the wiki unreadable at launch, that is a controls problem that 1.0.1 addressed, not a missing article.
