No Results Found 1,000 Wishlists Before Launch

A pre-release Steam news beat. The playable fact is still the 14 August free download.

Wishlist Milestone

Before No Results Found went live, Zzangdol Games posted that the Steam page had reached 1,000 wishlists. The note is gratitude, not a patch. It does not add a language, an achievement, or a hint button. It sits in this hub because players searching update history should not confuse a marketing beat with Patch 1.1. The game that shipped on 14 August 2026 is still a free Windows download from Jungle Game Lab. App ID 4911390. Single-player only. English, Korean, and Japanese.

Some preview calendars had floated 31 July. The live store date is 14 August. Wishlisting in late July did not unlock a beta on this wiki’s facts file. If you still see a wishlist button instead of Play, you are on a cached store view. Refresh the app page. Launch Notes is the day-one snapshot.

What a thousand wishlists meant

It meant enough people bookmarked a no-hint cult investigation that the developer said thank you with an octopus. It did not mean the case file got easier. Important clues are still not highlighted. The public Church of the Nine-Tentacled Octopus site is still a front. The members-only community is still the first real lock. See Hidden Community.

It also did not mean weekly codes. This is a finite mystery. The Updates Hub tracks Steam news that changes the desk: display, input, Japanese strings, report answers, search tags, chat, browser, UI. A wishlist milestone is social proof that the page existed. Treat it that way.

What happened after people actually played

Reviews opened Very Positive and climbed to Overwhelmingly Positive. As of this wiki pass Steam listed 747 reviews at 98 percent positive. Third-party charts recorded concurrent players briefly above a thousand, with a peak around 1,332. That is reception, not a changelog. The Review page covers tone, auto-advance nicks, and the optional DODGE tax. Notebookcheck and Korean outlets (GameMeca, GameChosun, IndieGame) described the same loop: you identify terms yourself, you type them, a document appears.

Some users compared the shape to Lost Wiki: Kozlovka. That is a resemblance note, not a shared universe. Search this title’s own index. Do not paste Kozlovka lemmas into the NIRA bar.

Steam discussions then filled with the walls this wiki exists to cover: community address, username and password, Makor and Orca, wiki blanks, notes that do not save. Those are post-wishlist, post-launch problems. Map them on When You Are Stuck, Wiki Blanks, IDs and Roles, and Known Issues.

How to read old news without getting lost

Order on this hub is newest desk change first. Patch 1.1, then 1.0.2, then 1.0.1, then launch, then this wishlist note, with Bug Reports beside the inbox. If a future Steam post adds a hint mode or a fourth language, it gets a new dated page. Until then, 1,000 wishlists remains a pre-launch thank-you.

Developer support remains [email protected]. Official trailers remain on ZzangdolGames YouTube: English, Japanese, Korean, plus an early-development cut. We embed the matching language trailer on How to Play. Do not trust random full walkthrough IDs we have not verified.

The Church flavor in later news — followers of NineTentaclism, Day of Grand Inversion — already existed as in-world voice. It did not unlock at 1,000 wishlists. Search those strings in-game if they appear as tokens. Do not redeem them. There is nothing to redeem.

For the executable, stay on Steam. For the investigation, stay on this domain: Guides, Case Files, Tools. This page will stay short on lore and long on dates. That is the point of a news leaf.

If you opened this tab hoping today’s secret is a code, there is not one. Open the Church site in the simulated browser instead. The wishlist number already did its job: it got the page enough attention to ship free and then get patched three times in a week.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for investigators who just hit a dead search.

Did 1,000 wishlists unlock extra content?

No. It was a pre-launch thank-you post. The playable game is the 14 August 2026 free Steam build, now on patch 1.1.

Why is a wishlist post in the updates hub?

So it is not confused with patches. Official Steam news includes milestones. Patches are the desk deltas.

Is the game still free after launch?

It launched free. Steam's app page is canonical if the price ever changes.
